The cabinet on Tuesday announced the New Year holidays from Dec 30, 2017 to Jan 2, 2018 as the last two days of the year fall on a weekend. "In principle, if annual holidays fall on weekends, additional holidays will be added," government spokesman Lt Gen Sansern Kaewkamnerd said.
